Privacy policy

Information pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679

Dear user, we inform you, as data controllers, that the EU Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protecting Regulation (GDPR) of immediate application also in Italy, pending the issuance of the decree provided for by the Community Law no. 163/2017, provides for the protection of persons and other subjects with respect to the processing of personal data. According to the legislation indicated, such processing will be based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of your confidentiality and rights.

Pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR, I therefore provide you with the following information:

  1. The personal data and contact details provided by you will be processed for the following purposes based on your consent and the legitimate interest of the Fondazione Ecosistemi, dissemination of information on the activities of the Foundation itself or related to it and sending the newsletter. The legal basis for this operation is art. 36 of the Italian Civil Code, the tax regulations relating to non-commercial entities, in particular art. 148 of the T.U.I.R., art. 4 of Presidential Decree 633/72 and art. 90 of Law 289/2002.
  2. The data will be processed in the following ways: on files in electronic format, stored on the Brevo cloud. Any data provided in paper format, once transcribed on file, will be destroyed. Pursuant to Article 4 no. 2 of the GDPR, the processing of personal data may consist of the collection, recording, organisation, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data.
  3. Personal data will be kept for as long as it is indispensable for the Foundation’s activities, unless the user requests their deletion, which will be carried out automatically by means of a deletion procedure from the mailing list and within 30 working days from all existing backups.
  4. Personal data and, more generally, all data collected will not be communicated or transferred to third parties or other entities and will not be disseminated.

  6. The data controller is the Fondazione Ecosistemi, which can be contacted at the same email address.
  7. You may at any time exercise your rights to know the data that concerns you, to know how it was acquired, to check that it is accurate, complete, up-to-date and well kept, to receive the data in a structured, commonly used and electronically readable format, to revoke any consent you may have given regarding the processing of your data at any time and to oppose the use of all or part of your data as set out in Articles 15 to 20 of the GDPR. These rights may be exercised through a specific request to be addressed by registered letter or PEC to the data controller.
  8. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before revocation. This right may be exercised by sending the revocation of consent to the e-mail address given above (Point 6).
  9. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or any other supervisory authority that may be established by the Decree provided for in Community Law No. 163/2017.

There is no automated decision-making process, nor any profiling activities referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) of the GDPR.
